From A64 (York)

9 miles [20 mins]

Turn off the A64 signposted Hull onto the A1079, exit immediately right towards Elvington on the B1228. Pass through Elvington and Sutton-upon-Derwent for 8.5 miles.

The B1228 then turns right to Howden and M62, but keep straight on towards Melbourne.

Entering the village, turn right signposted East Cottingwith onto Kidd Lane. Acorn Glade is 0.3 miles on the right (sign-posted and through a galvanised gate).

From M62 (Howden)

13 miles [25 mins]

Turn off the M62 at J37 signposted Goole & Howden. Turn right onto the A614 towards Market Weighton.

At the petrol station, turn left at the island signposted York on to the A63 towards Howden, then turn right onto the B1228 (Station Road).

Pass over the railway line (Howden station) and onto Bubwith.

Cross over the A163 and continue on the B1228 towards Melbourne.

After approx. 8 miles turn right onto Ash Lane, signposted Seaton Ross.

After 0.8 miles turn left onto Kidd Lane. Acorn Glade is 0.8 miles on the left (signposted and through a galvanised gate).

Travelling from the M62 direction to Melbourne. When you turn right onto Ash Lane, signposted Seaton Ross (see map right), the road is closed for urgent water mains repairs. Please follow the arrows on the map or diversion signs.

Ash Lane will be closed from 15 April for 12 weeks.
