By booking with Acorn Glade, you agree to adhere to the following terms & conditions:
WHAT TO PACK:
Please ensure you bring:
food (as this board basis is self-catering)
warm clothing (it can get chilly at night in low season months)
wellingtons (in case the grounds are wet because of rain)
a torch (especially if you wish to walk back from the pub at night)
tea towel & towels (towels can be hired if you wish)
bed linen (including a bottom sheet) for the Gypsy Wagon only, if not booked. All bed linen is provided for all accommodation
charcoals for the BBQ (weather dependent)
fish bait (if you are planning on buying a day fishing pass)
a good book (reminder that we have no wifi)
an open mind (if you are a first time glamper)
and finally, a sense of adventure
Guest Arrival Information:
Check in time is strictly from 4pm-7pm on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Please let us know your estimated time of arrival prior to visiting
Upon arrival at the Acorn Glade site, drive down the gravel driveway for approx. 30 metres and turn left into the car-park outside "The Chicken Shed" (this is our kitchen and washroom amenity block).
When you arrive at the main wooden building, please press the visitor bell (marked 'Arrivals') which is outside the kitchen window area and a member of our team will be along shortly to welcome you to your accommodation.
Any arrivals after 7pm on the day of arrival are at the discretion of the management only and must be agreed by email or telephone prior to day of arrival. This is to ensure provisions are made so that there is a staff member available to show you into your accommodation.
Strictly no arrivals permitted after 10pm.
Are you Celebrating Anything Special?
If you or your partner are celebrating a special event, such as a birthday, anniversary or honeymoon, etc., why not email us and let us know? We have all sorts of special occassion banners that we can put up for you in your accommodation as a surprise!
THE 'CHICKEN SHED':
For cooking of all meals and snacks, you can use the well-equipped communal kitchen 'The Chicken Shed', where there are gas hobs, kettle, fridge (plus a drinks fridge) and a microwave, including pots & pans and cutlery and crockery
For fire & safety reasons, guests are not permitted to cook inside their accommodation. The Chicken Shed is open 24 x 7 with automatic eco lighting
There are plenty of tables and chairs on the veranda area with covered seating also available under the wooden gazebo near the BBQ and Pizza oven area.
Everyone has access to use the communal washrooms with toilets and showers which are less than 50 metres from each accommodation unit. The Chicken Shed kitchen, showers and toilets are open 24 x 7 with automatic eco lighting.
